Meeting & Boardrooms

Twenty rooms with 19 on the first floor off the Gallery Walkway means your connected and in sight of each other. Some meeting rooms scale once walls opens. Most have daylight, a built-in screen and projector; board rooms also include a 55-inch display, flip chart and office supplies. Some rooms go by the hour. And our ‘Magenta room’ has cinema setup, dark lighting, made for screenings.

Questions & answers

What is the maximum capacity of the Ballroom?

Our ballroom comfortably holds 750 guests across two levels, and the
ground floor alone seats 330 for dinner. High ceilings and an opera-style
balcony make it a room that carries plenary sessions, corporate events,
galas and car exhibitions. Split across both areas:
570 + 138 people, 680m² + 250m².

Do you have packages with break out or hotel rooms?

Yes, and nobody has to cross town to make it work. Aside the ballroom sit 20 meeting rooms and dedicated boardrooms for 8 to 40 people, so your plenary, your parallel sessions and your board huddle all run within a few steps of each other. The Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is in the same building, with 476 rooms, so delegates sleep where they meet. Tell us the shape of your programme and the rooms and the beds come back to you in one quote.

Can we customise audiovisual equipment requests?

Yes. Most rooms already carry built-in screens or displays, projector(s), so a straightforward session needs nothing arranged at all.
But the brief is all yours: our technical team and production partners build the setup around your need. Simple signage and furniture at one end, full stage and show rigging, sound and lighting at the other. Send us the Run of Show and the budget you’re working to and what comes back is a spec built to fit both; not a package you have to cut down.

Is there solid Wi-Fi & TV connectivity for attendees?

Yes. Free high-speed Wi-Fi runs through the whole building; ballroom, breakout rooms, foyers and the Gallery Walkway, so a full house stays online at the same time. Bandwidth standards can be discussed. Meeting rooms come with built-in screens and projectors, boardrooms with 55-inch displays. Our AV team carries the sound, the lighting and the feed to everyone joining from elsewhere. If your programme leans on a livestream or a large hybrid audience, tell us early and we’ll reserve the capacity for it.

Is there parking in the building?

Yes. There is parking in the garage below the building, with EV charging points. Let us know how many guests are driving and we’ll reserve spaces with your booking.

Can I input my own catering requests?

Yes of course. Nothing is fixed at the menu stage. Breakfast to open the day, lunch, and coffee, fruit and pastries running right through it. Then dinner scaled to the room: 330 seated in the ballroom, 650 with the restaurant alongside, 750 for a walking dinner. Bring your dietary and cultural requirements and the moment in the programme where you want the food to do some work, and our chefs build back from there.

Is vehicle drive-in access available?

Yes, cars come into the ballroom. It’s why the space works as well for a launch or a car exhibition as it does for a plenary of 750. Coaches pull up at the entrance, the garage below holds vehicles with EV charging points, and crew vehicles load. Send us the vehicle and we’ll walk the route with you before you commit.

What are the responsibility efforts of your property?

Every meeting is carbon compensated at no extra cost to you, through our partnership with First Climate. Reduce, reuse, replace, recycle is the working order behind it everything: Single-use plastics on their way out,
food waste measured and cut rather than talked about, EV charging in the garage and the building drawing its primary energy from an aquifer thermal energy storage system. If your organisation reports on the footprint of its events, ask us for the numbers and you’ll get them. All projects are Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard certified.
