Questions & answers
Can we run a good event without a production budget?
Yes, that is how most rooms here are used. A screen and projector are already installed, sound is integrated, the walls move and the foyers take
the catering. Plenty of programmes need nothing hired in at all.
How do you keep planning simple?
One planner brings together meeting rooms, catering, hours and hotel rooms in one clear proposal that’s easy to report on afterwards. Small rooms can be booked by the hour.
What can you evidence on sustainability?
Every meeting is carbon compensated at no extra cost through our First Climate partnership, with reduce, reuse, replace, recycle behind it: single-use plastics on their way out, food waste measured and cut, EV charging in the garage, and the building drawing its primary energy from an aquifer thermal energy storage system. Ask for the numbers and you’ll get them.
Is the venue accessible for all attendees?
Tell us the access requirements at enquiry and they are answered in the proposal rather than discovered on the day — routes, seating, sightlines and hearing. Getting here does not depend on a car: Sloterdijk is a six-minute walk with trains, metro, tram and bus.
Can closed and public sessions run in parallel tracks?
Yes. Movable soundproof walls hold a closed session while a public track runs nearby, and we place it away from public routes with its own arrival and breaks. For high-profile days we work with specialist security partners on a plan agreed with your security lead.
Do you understand our compliance obligations?
We understand compliance obligations and our accommodation,
meeting and event solutions are designed with them in mind. We do not sign off your rules, your team does, but you should not have to explain the basics twice.
