HOSTING YOUR PARTY

The party and
everything around it

A stage and a dance floor already in the room. Food that comes to people rather than the other way round. A rooftop for the ones you want to talk to before the music starts, and a hotel upstairs so the night can end when it ends — not when the last train goes.

THREE KINDS OF NIGHT

Whatever you're celebrating we got it

The room is the same; the evening is not. A staff party, a wedding and a private celebration each want different things from the same building — so the planning starts from which one you are throwing.

THE EMPLOYEE EVENT

The staff party,
from six angles

The company party is the hardest of the three to run and the easiest to get blamed for. These are the six things that decide how it goes — and all six sit inside one building.

serving style

330, 650 and 750 are three different evenings rather than one room described three ways. Here they are side by side, with what each does to the shape of the night.

01

330 seated or 650 ballroom

330 seated in the ballroom, 650 with the restaurant alongside, or 750 at a walking dinner – each gives the evening a different shape. We’ll help you pick the one that fits.

02

Bring your own chef

The Rooftop has its own kitchen and bar, so the menu can be yours: a certified halal or kosher supplier, a family or community caterer, or the celebrity chef the evening is built around.

03

The welcome til midnight

Staff briefed on your run of show, not just the menu: stations timed around the speeches, dietary plates to the right seats and the room reset for dancing. A welcome drink in the foyer or out on the Piazza before the main event. The closing with a late-night snack when the band stops to have guests staying for one more.

FAQ’S ABOUT OUR BALLROOM

Questions & answers

Can we bring our own band or DJ?

Yes, send the technical rider with the booking. The stage and dance floor can be part of the ballroom, our own team provides professional sound and lighting around them and the meeting rooms next door become the dressing and green rooms. Load-in and rehearsal are scheduled before doors rather than around your guests.

By planning the flow rather than just the floor plan: entry and cloakroom sized for everyone arriving in the same twenty minutes, food at stations spread around the room instead of one buffet line, bars staffed to the peak, and the foyer and Gallery Walkway as the places people go to hear each other. The ballroom also divides into three if you want the speeches in a smaller room than the dancing.
Tell us the finish time you have in mind and we confirm it against the building before it goes on the invitation. Guests staying upstairs is usually what makes a late finish workable.
How do you handle cultural and religious dietary requirements?
As part of the menu, not as a footnote to it. Tell us at menu stage what the room needs; halal, kosher, vegetarian and vegan, no pork, no alcohol, fasting-period timings and the chefs build back from that rather than adding a plate at the end. A certified supplier can be brought in or your own caterer can take over the Rooftop kitchen. Dishes are labelled at the stations and dietary plates reach the right seats without anyone identifying themselves in front of their table.

Yes. The Rooftop, with its own kitchen and bar, is ideal for a smaller dinner before guests join the main party downstairs.

Amsterdam-West: six minutes on foot from the train and metro station, ten minutes by train from Schiphol, and coaches stop at the entrance. The garage below the building has parking with EV charging points.
