What is the maximum capacity of the Rooftop?

Up to 150 for a standing reception, and 98 seated in rounds for dinner, on one open floor at the top of the building. Glass on every side keeps it feeling generous rather than full, which is why it carries an award evening as comfortably as a board dinner. Setups: 150 reception, 120 theatre, 98 dinner, 80 cabaret

Which setups work up here?

Four, and the room changes between them in an afternoon. Rounds of eight or ten for dinner at 98. Cabaret at 80, half-moon rounds facing a stage, when people need to eat and still follow a speaker. Theatre at 120 for a keynote or an AGM. Cleared floor at 150 for a reception, with the bar open and the city doing the rest. Tell us the shape of the evening and we’ll draw it before you commit.

Can we take over the kitchen?

Yes, and it’s the reason this floor books out. The kitchen and bar are on the rooftop itself, fully equipped, not three levels down a service lift. Our chefs cook from it as standard, or a guest chef of yours takes it over for the night — a signature menu, a tasting, a market-style live-cooking format. Food travels twenty steps, so it lands hot and on cue with the programme

Can we customise the audiovisual setup?

Yes. A screen, sound and a microphone for a speaker need nothing arranged at all. Past that the brief is yours: our technical team and production partners build to it — a stage and lighting at one end, a discreet single camera for a livestream at the other. Send the run of show and the budget you’re working to, and what comes back is a spec that fits both

How easily do guests reach us from across Europe?

Easily enough that international guests arrive the same morning. Schiphol is a ten-minute train ride, Sloterdijk station a six-minute walk with trains, metro, tram and bus, and the city centre a short ride on from there. Coaches pull up at the entrance and the garage below takes cars, with EV charging points. Nobody spends the first hour of your event stuck in traffic

Do you have packages with break out or hotel rooms?

Yes, and nobody crosses town to make it work. Twenty meeting rooms and boardrooms for 8 to 40 sit on the floors below, so a working day runs downstairs and the same group comes up for dinner. The Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is in this building with 476 rooms, so delegates sleep where they met. Tell us the shape of the programme and the rooms and beds come back in one quote.

What can guests actually see from up here?

Amsterdam West, open to the horizon: the harbour and the IJ, the Sloterdijk towers, the old city skyline behind them, and Westerpark green in the middle distance. In the late afternoon the light comes across the water and the room turns golden without a single lamp. It changes the angle people talk from, which is usually why a host chooses this floor over a room downstairs

Every meeting is carbon compensated at no extra cost to you, through our partnership with First Climate. Reduce, reuse, replace, recycle is the working order behind it: single-use plastics on their way out, food waste measured and cut rather than talked about, EV charging in the garage and the building drawing its primary energy from an aquifer thermal energy storage system.
